Strategy / Identity / Design
UFO.Discordo was appointed by ASOS to devise the strategy and create the identity for a stand alone commercial agency to represent the ASOS globally.
UFO.Discordo created the new brand identity for the ASOS internal creative agency, the visual identity needed to bring together the young, DIY aesthetic of ASOS with the energy and passion of its in-house creative team alongside the strategic thinking of the insight dept.
To do this we created geometric grid patterns and shapes to represent the experience, logic and thinking ASOS applies to a campaign. We then created a set of custom fun and vibrant patterns to represent the energy and passion of the talent and their application of creative skills to any brief. With the aim of creating a visual manifestation of how the agency operates, blending expert strategy and insight with unrivalled creative execution & passion.
Project deliverables included logo, typography, colour palette and comprehensive brand guidelines.

A Documentation of the UK Rave Scene 1988 - 2018.
This book contains photographs from the first ‘Cult to Culture’ exhibition.
Curated in collaboration with promoter Richard Raindance, the show ran from October 11th until December 23rd 2018 at the Lomography Gallery Store in Soho, London.
It forms part of an ongoing exploration of the UK Rave scene from the Acid House explosion of ‘88 and second Summer of Love, through the illegal ‘pay party’ scene and emergence of modern electronic dance culture.
Many of the images included in this book are from the archive of David ‘Skippy’ Kingsley, photographer and friend of Raindance since 1989.
This is by no means a total record or definitive history, simply part of our story.
Curated by Richard Raindance & Ciaran O’Shea.

Video disruption for Golovkin, taken from Throw Down Bones' album ‘Two’ released on Fuzz Club.
”Italy’s Throw Down Bones are something of an enigma in the experimental underground. Since the release of their highly-praised 2015 self-titled album, they’ve picked up a notorious reputation on the European live circuit for their pulverising, constantly-mutating live shows. In a review of the debut album listeners were told to “make no mistake, this is dance music” and that may have been true back then but now, back with their second album titled Two, the band have taken that to a whole new extreme. Ditching the hypnotic coldwave tendencies of their earlier work for an all-out sonic assault of industrial four-to-the-floor techno.
